I was introduced to MoKan Pana by Cheryl Schneider back in the early 2000’s. She encouraged me to attend a seminar. I felt very inspired. Cherry Guevara recruited me to attend a board meeting about 4 years ago. They were looking for some new board members. I was voted in for Secretary. I really enjoyed that. Then I moved up to President-elect and now President. I really feel very blessed and honored to hold this position. It’s an honor to serve!

I serve on three ASPAN Strategic Work Teams: Advancing/Emerging Leaders, Membership & Marketing, and Collaborative Advocacy. I promote activities that enhance healthy workplace settings through collaboration, advocacy, and clinical inquiry. I’ve led 60,000+ nurses through national legislative developments and proposals on environmental gas exposure limits, workplace safety, and DEI initiatives.
